The Cassiopee Lab is a Joint Lab (called UMR, or unités mixtes de recherche, in French) (UMR 6202), depending from: the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), The Observatory of the Côte d’Azur (OCA) and the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (UNS). Our activity goes from theoretical astrophysics up to mechanical sciences, which is why the Lab is supported by two CNRS institutes, INSUINST2I. and Most of the teams is located on the Mont-Gros, in Nice. The whole lab is composed of 35 permanent researchers, 11 engineers and administrative persons as well PhDs, Post-Doc and temporary people, for a total of more than 80 persons.
